Have you had "the talk" with your teen?  Well, I have 2 girls one 24 the other 14....the 14 year old has heard it all so she thinks cause she was always in the car or around when the 24 year old was getting the same talk at 14. 

Anyway, she is now at the age where when

she sees a guy, her tongue hangs to the floor and she almost twists her neck off to get a better look.  Needless to say she is not the only one doing this....anytime a friend is along both necks get to rubbernecking in unison as if they were tied together.

I have found  a great book that helped her to see that I wasn't the only one talking about the do's and don'ts of dating.  I found it at Lifeway bookstore in the teen section.  Dateable.  It was written by a guy/girl team and I will have to get the authors name at another time...but my kid read it, I read it, we talked about parts of it...and the best thing is that she saw that Mom wasn't to far off track on all "the talk" about dating stuff.  To her it really made alot of sense that it was written from the guys point of view with the girl adding her 2 sense to it.

So, if you have a teenager that every time they see someone of the opposite sex and they about have a kiniption fit....get this book....Dateable....to help with the teen age years.  Warning:  It is not a cure, just a helpful guide!
