Growing up takes good roots music

More kid-friendly music you might be able to love as well. This time from modern bluegrass masters Del McCoury band (Ronnie, not Del, actually fronts this release) Anhow, these are tight, smart renditions of tasteful childrens music that doesn't equate to dumbed-down versions for little ones.

Here's the track rundown:
1  Man Gave Names To All The Animals
 2  You've Got A Friend In Me
3  This Land Is Your Land
 4  Monkey And The Engineer
 5  Barefoot Nellie
 6  My Friend, My Guitar
7  The Big Rock Candy Mountain
8  I've Been Working On The Railroad
 9  Mama's Blues
 10  Goin' Ape
 11  Teddy Bear's Picnic
 12  This Old Man
 13  Jimmy Brown The Newsboy
 14  The Fox
15  He's Got The Whole World In His Hands
 16  Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Listen & buy it here!

I'll continue posting more about kids media that doesn't suck until someone tells me that they truly like listening to the Wiggles more than what I write about! :) - PopRocks

Thanks for your recommendation. We go crazy around here listening to the Wiggles. Not that the Wiggles aren't great for the kids - - just would love to find something in between!
