"Nerd Rock" that makes you feel cool!

We first saw these Nashville geek rockers last year at the Madison branch of the Huntsville Public Library. They were in the middle of a very unusual rock band-meets-quiet-library tour. The two-fold reason for the silence-busting tour was a kids book just published about the inner-workings of a real band & the band's fascination with the fact that they got to be most kids' first live band experience!

Jetpack music at Huntsville ParentThe 32-page hardback book, "Inside a Rock Band," is filled with full-color photos of the Jetpackers. It explains what it's like to be in an up-and-coming, dues-paying rock band (instead of the already-packaged, sexy version we're delivered by the media)

The band's quirky fare is a mashup of Beatles, Ben Folds & Weezer and will likely become your favorite just as quickly as you're kid's. And we all know it pays to really like the music your child is spinning - - especially when play is pushed for the 20th time in a row!

While the book is geared for 1st-4th graders, it's fun for all ages. Jetpack's music is geared for people who like good music. Enough said.
